We know art is fun and can create memories or keepsakes. But art can also…

– help us and our kiddos practice critical thinking skills by making a mental plan or picture of what they want to create.

– build fine motor skills that build the muscles that help hold a pencil, use scissors, turn the page of a book.

– build self-esteem and social skills

These are just a few examples of how art is SMART!

Playing is learning – having open-ended project supplies available to our little ones is a wonderful way to encourage creativity. You don’t have to give them a cookie-cutter project to show them what their supplies should create.

Join us this Saturday for Oberlin 2nd Saturdays at East College Street Courtyard.
