OberlinKids held its 3rd annual Oberlin Community Easter Egg Hunt on March 31, 2018. We made some egg-cellent changes to the egg hunt! OberlinKids will recycle all the eggs by continuing a new way of running the hunt that has been seen in many area communities.

The hunt works like this…
*Check your eggs…you could win a prize! There are some eggs scattered with prize tickets inside and some eggs filled with a treat and free meal coupon from Elyria Texas roadhouse! (please note that most of the eggs are empty)
*Parents, accompany your children to the center of
Tappan Square to return all plastic eggs; where each child
will get goodies to put in their basket and redeem any prize tickets!

This change will help sustain the event while still maintaining the thrill of the hunt. The cost of the hunt will be lowered for consecutive years and the eggs will not end up in the landfill. The hunt was supported by some amazing people in our greater community. Special thanks to them…Oberlin Business Partnership, Lorain County Volunteer Connection – Premier Toyota & Lorain High School Seniors,  Oberlin College Athletic Club volunteers, and Texas Roadhouse in Elyria.

If you did not attend the hunt this year, we hope you mark your calendar for the Saturday preceding Easter!

See you next year!
