Don’t qualify for most income-based scholarships because you make just a little too much and you feel preschool costs are just too high to fit in your budget? OberlinKids may have a scholarship that is just for you!
OberlinKids understands and values the importance of children having access to high-quality early learning centers. And we understand the cost of preschool can be a roadblock. In an effort to increase the number of children who have access to a high-quality center, OberlinKids received a $20,000 grant from the Ohio Children’s Trust Fund to supplement the tuition for part-time preschool within our partner centers.
OberlinKids is offering money toward part-time preschool tuition at OberlinKids approved preschool programs. Eligible preschool programs include Eastwood School, Kendal Early Learning Center (KELC), and Oberlin Early Childhood Center (OECC).
You are eligible if you…
- Live in the Oberlin City School district or intend on open-enrolling in the district.
- Are registered with OberlinKids.
- Complete the On Track for Kindergarten packet or online links before entering the preschool program at least annually which include:
- Child/Parent/Caregiver Intake
- ASQ-3 Developmental and ASQ-SE-2 Social-Emotional Screenings
OberlinKids On Track intake forms and screenings can be completed directly at www.oberlinkids.org/screening or a paper copy of these documents may be requested through the early learning center or by contacting Jenn Keathley at 440-371-0113 or jkeathley@oberlinkids.org.
